Privacy Policy

• Account information. Name, email address and, where you sign in with Google, the basic profile details that sign-in provides.
• Mobile phone numbers. A mobile number may be added to a crew member's profile so work-order text messages can be sent and replies filed to the right job.
• Work information. Workspaces, projects, work orders, task instructions, notes, daily logs, materials and expense records, approvals and pay records you enter in the service.
• Photos and files. Job photos, receipts, voice notes, contracts and other documents uploaded through the service.
• SMS/MMS communications. The content, phone numbers, timestamps, delivery status and any photos of text messages sent or received through Task Goat's business number, stored with the related work order.
• Consent records. Whether a person agreed to receive text messages, when they agreed, how consent was captured, and the version of the disclosure they accepted.

Information is used to operate the service: to run your workspace, assign and track work orders, keep a record of job communications, photos, expenses and pay, to send the operational messages you request, and to secure and support the application.

Task Goat does not sell your information, and does not use your job data for advertising.

Mobile information and SMS consent information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers as necessary to deliver the requested messaging and service, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

Text messages are delivered through Twilio, our messaging provider, which processes the phone numbers and message content needed to send and receive those messages. Messages sent and received are stored in your workspace as part of the job record.

Reply STOP to any Task Goat message to opt out of further messages, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

Information is shared only in these situations:

• Within your workspace. Owners, admins and crew members see the information their role allows — for example, an assigned worker sees their own work orders, and workspace owners and admins see the job records for their workspace.
• Service providers. Vendors that host and operate the service on our behalf, including our cloud database, storage and application hosting provider and our messaging provider (Twilio).
• Legal reasons. Where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the service.

Accounts are protected by sign-in, and workspace data is separated so members only reach records their role permits. Photos, receipts and message attachments are held in private storage and served through short-lived links to authorized users.

Job records — including work orders, notes, payment records and message history — are kept as an ongoing business record for as long as the workspace is active, unless you ask us to remove them. Some records are intentionally append-only so the job history stays accurate.

• Update your name, mobile number and text-message consent from Settings inside the app.
• Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by turning consent off in Settings.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us at the address below.

Task Goat is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.
